Frequently Asked Questions

What is a cannabis transdermal patch?

A cannabis transdermal patch is an adhesive based patch that is placed on the skin to deliver a specific dose of cannabinoids into the bloodstream over time.

What type of cannabis transdermal patches do you have and what are their suggested uses?

THC A THC Patch for an elevated experience. Suggested use – busy or active consumers that don’t have the time or opportunity to smoke.

CBD 1:1 – A 1:1 patch for balanced recovery. Suggested use – Pain relief for patients who want a balanced experience or are used to consuming marijuana.

High CBD A high CBD patch for long lasting relief. Suggested use – Pain relief. Great for elderly or first time patients that don’t want to feel the THC High.

Entourage 2:1 THC to CBD patch for rest and relaxation. Suggested use – For those who need help falling asleep or would like a high THC pain reliever.

What are the disadvantages of transdermal delivery?

There are a few factors which may impact transdermal delivery systems. These include skin irritation and altered delivery based on skin composition and metabolism. The effects may also be too intense for first time users.

Does the patch have a euphoric effect?

The cannabinoid responsible for euphoria is THC. CBD is known to hamper the psychoactive effects of THC when the two are combined. Patches with a dominant THC ratio will likely produce euphoric effects, this includes the THC and Entourage patches. Those who are new to cannabinoid products may feel light effects from the CBD 1:1 and High CBD patches.

Why are there alcohol pads included in the packaging?

We provide the alcohol prep pads to thoroughly clean the skin to improve adhesion of the patch. The alcohol prep pads remove excess sebum, oils, and dead skin cells that can block transdermal delivery.

Do I have to apply the patch to the area I am trying to treat?

No! The patch is not a spot treatment and can be placed anywhere on the body! We recommend placing it in a comfortable area avoiding sensitive skin and hair.

Can I shower or participate in water activities with a patch?

Yes, a patch is waterproof and able to be worn with any daily activities you may participate in.

Can I take the patch off and reuse it?

No, once a patch is removed from the skin, you will not be able to reapply it. We suggest cutting your patches into smaller doses using a square at a time so that you can get more uses out of the patch.

Is there latex in the patch?

No, our patches are latex free.

Is there silicone in the patch?

No, our patches are silicone free.

Is there DMSO in a patch?

Can you cut them into multiple doses?

If you’re uncomfortable with the effects of the patch can you take the patch off?

Yes! If you are feeling overwhelmed with the effects, you can take the patch off and the delivery will stop within 45 minutes.

How do you know if you are getting a consistent hourly dose of cannabis?

Our patches are created by professionals and tested with a third party lab to ensure our absorption and delivery rates are accurate. The patches are flux tested on cadaver skin to ensure consistent delivery into the bloodstream.

Why should I use the patch vs. other cannabis products?
